How strangers chat works on StrangerTalk
Press Start on the chat page and you join a queue. As soon as another person is waiting, you are matched and can send messages back and forth in real time. There is no profile to fill in and no account to create.
If the conversation is not going anywhere, press Next to be paired with a different stranger, or Stop to leave the chat.
Choose who you chat with
Use the Chat with toggles to match with male, female or LGBTQ strangers. Leave them off to chat with anyone. Your choices are used only to find a match and are not stored in our database.
Safe, anonymous strangers chat
You do not need to share your name, email or photos. Phone numbers are blocked in chat, and messages are not stored. If someone breaks the rules, press Report to send the last messages for review.
