Yes. There is no sign-up and no payment.

Is it anonymous?

Yes. You do not need an account, and we do not ask for your name or email.

Who can use it?

Only adults aged 18 and over. Confirm your age on the entry screen to continue.

How does matching work?

You are paired with a random stranger who is online at the same time. You can choose to chat with Male, Female, or LGBTQ people using the toggles above the chat. Leave the toggles off to chat with anyone.

Can I choose a theme?

Yes. Pick a theme in the menu. Your choice is kept in your browser only.

Are my messages stored?

No. Messages are relayed live and are not stored. The only exception is a chat you report, which is kept for 30 days for review. See the Privacy Policy.

Can I share my phone number?

No. Phone numbers are blocked automatically in chat.

How do I report someone?

Press Report during the chat. The chat ends and the reported lines are reviewed.

Is this a dating site?

No. StrangerTalk is for entertainment only. It is not a dating service, and we do not verify anyone's identity.
