StrangerTalk is anonymous and you talk to strangers. Keep yourself safe with these habits.

Protect your details

• Never share your full name, address, phone number, email, school, or workplace.
• Phone numbers are blocked in chat, but do not try to get around this with spelled-out or split numbers.
• Never share bank, card, or crypto details, and never send money to anyone you meet here.
• Do not share photos or videos that reveal your identity or location.

Spot the warning signs

• Requests for money, gift cards, or investments.
• Pressure to move to another app, or to share contact details quickly.
• Requests for personal photos, or anyone who seems under 18.

If something goes wrong

• Press Next or Stop to leave a chat immediately.
• Press Report to send the last messages for review. Reports are reviewed and deleted after 30 days.
• If you are in danger, contact your local emergency services.
